Following a recent accident on the beam at gymnastics, my 13 year old daughter received excellent treatment at TW Hospital in the A&E department. Within a week of her follow-up appointment at the fracture clinic my daughter was referred for a CT scan. On the day of the CT scan she was admitted onto Hedgehog Ward and operated on. We were home by 9pm the same day. During our time at the hospital we received clear, courteous communication about what would happen. The surgeon and consultant spoke directly to my daughter, which reassured her. The nurses and healthcare assistants were warm, friendly and available. My daughter's individual room, which had a flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom, was spotless. Even the food was plentiful and healthy. I do not think her treatment could have been bettered. A huge thank you to the kind, talented staff at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
