About: Fulwood Hall Hospital

Anything else?

My surgery, and care at this hospital was second to none, I was referred to fullwood hall for my gall bladder removal. Being a nhs patient not really sure why? So really didn't know what to expect. From the moment I stepped into the building I was treated with the upmost courtesy, shown to my room, at this point my nurse came to see me and put me fully at ease as I was a little nervous. She explained fully what was going to happen and that I was first on the list for my surgery. Shortly before I was taken down to theatre, my anaesthetist came to see me, shortly followed by my surgeon who put me completely at ease and explained to me my procedure. Ten minuets later I was on my way to theatre, given my anesthetic, all with complete dignity and kindness. The next thing I remember was coming round after my operation, a nurse sat next to me explains that all was ok and we're i was. After several hours resting I was able to walk out of the building and to travel home. I can't thank all the staff enough for all your help and kindness, with a very big thankyou to the consultant surgeon and his team, were would we all be without people like these.Once again a big thankyou to you all. Yours sincerely . Ray Roberts.

It is very rewarding to hear such a positive account of a patient experience. The medical and clinical team will be delighted with your very positive comments. Thank you for taking the time to communicate your experience. Best wishes Ann Cooke Matron
