"Eye Casualty"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

After gardening left me with something in my right eye which was uncomfortable although not painful, I eventually went to the eye casualty this morning. Expecting to wait most of the day I had resigned myself to being there for hours. The receptionist was extremely pleasant and it wasn't long before I saw a trainee nurse who took my details. After a very short wait I was called in to see the consultant. What a lovely man. He examined my eyes and very quickly removed two very small pieces of something from my right eye. His manner couldn't have been more pleasant. A true gentleman, I would put myself in his care any time. Thank you, my faith is certainly restored!
