"Not enough nurses !"

About: Solihull Hospital

Anything else?

My mum was cared for in ward 20 and it was very obvious from day 1 that the nurses are very over stretched. I am just very glad that my mum hasnt got dementia because she would not have been safe in there. We witnessed some very worrying issues at visiting times and the staff are so busy they dont even know what medication you should or shouldnt be having. My mum has serious eye problems requiring drops twice a day and it took me 2 days of hassling them before she got them and even then they still forgot daily. I have seen a lot of bad publicity on the news about the NHS that I really thought were exagerrated but believe me they really are not. This hospital is frightening another Stafford waiting to happen , I am absolutely disgusted at what I saw here. The really sad thing is that most of the nurses were lovely but just completely over stretched.
