"Antenatal Team and wards 15/16"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

Anything else?

On Friday (15th November 2013, approx 9.30pm) evening I was admitted to the hospital with concerns about my forthcoming baby. From the moment I spoke to a midwife on the phone before going into the hospital, I felt instantly supported by the care in which I was given. I was dealt with quickly, carefully and in a truly professional manner. My stay lasted throughout until Monday (18th November 2013, approx 11.30am) where thankfully, all positive results indicated I could return home to rest. Every single member of staff - carers, midwives, nurses, doctors, consultants, sonographer, was amazing. My partner and I were in rather an emotional and anxious state at times throughout those 4 days but at no point were we made to feel anything other than the most important people on the ward or in the department. We now feel it is our duty to report back to all involved within the team and those who are in charge of the team to send our sincere thanks and appreciation for the care you gave us all. We do hope this can be shared with staff on duty at that time and they can be rewarded with the recognition they so deserve.
