Anything else?
I was admitted in the early hours of Monday morning due to heavy bleeding without pain whilst pregnant. I was seen after a short wait by a nurse and a confident young doctor that made me feel quite reassured. I was then admitted into one of the observation wards (in what I believe was A&E). The staff from both the night shift and morning shift were incredibly nice and polite and very sympathetic and helpful. I was very impressed. After being discharged on Monday afternoon, I had to be re-admitted in the early hours of Tuesday due to a heavy bleed with excruciating pain. I got to the hospital and was taken care of immediately by two nurses who gave me medication for the pain asap. I was seen by a doctor within about 10 minutes of getting to the hospital. Once again, very impressed with the care received. Unfortunately, no beds were available in women's areas, so I had to spend a couple of hours in the men's majors. However, the staff made a great effort to ensure I was comfortable by giving me a more comfortable bed in the same men's majors as soon as it became available and then transferring me to a ladies' ward as soon as a bed was found. I can only say thank you to the staff in A&E and ward 1 for their kindness and attention in the last couple of days. Keep up the good work! It is a pleasure when you find a team like this.
