"After a rather traumatic first ..."

About: Castle Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

After a rather traumatic first knee replacement at a local private hospital (through NHS), this second operation and stay in hospital could not have been better. Staff were caring and cheerful and were always available for help and queries, unlike the previously mentioned hospital. In addition the surgeon visited me on three occasions to see how I was progressing and the anaesthetist also checked on my recovery. The physios were also cheerful and helpful. Being in a ward of six was far superior to having a room to myself. I would recommend Castle Hill.

What could be improved

Obviously, more staff would help take the stress from the others but, apart from this, I can think of nothing esle that could be improved apart from the food which was adequate but not vital for recovery.
