Anything else?
I recently had a hip replacement operation in West Middx. The consultant and his team were very helpful from the initial appointment. Prior to the operation I was seen in a pre-assessment clinic where there was a good opportunity to ask questions. An occupational therapist explained the needs I would have in the home when I was discharged. I was only in the hospital for three nights and this short stay was possible because of the help from the occupational therapist and hospital physiotherapists. The ward wasclean and airy; five of us with a decent space between beds. All the nurses were extraordinarily helpful, friendly and concerned. I thought it was the NHS as its most wonderful.
