"My 83 year old mother's stay at Frenchay"

About: Frenchay Hospital

Anything else?

My mother recently had two unplanned stays at Frenchay, both emergency operations to drain fluid from her skull. Both times she was very well cared for, the staff took time to have a bit of a laugh with her as well as providing a high level of care. The food was excellent (!) and my mother enjoyed her time there ?! Consequently I feel her recovery time was probably halved and I would highly recommend the Neurosurgery Unit.

Dear Anonymous - thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your views of the Neurology Service at Frenchay Hospital. I am sorry to take so long responding, but I have been out of the office for the last fortnight. I am pleased that your mother received such good care and that her stay was so positive in every respect. I have shared your comments with the Neurology Management Team and Catering Service Manager so the staff can be made aware of your positive comments. Kind regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
