Maternity ward Me and my wife went to hospital at around 8.45pm on the 20th August triage ward the as soon as i arrived i told receptionist shes having the urge to push but she spoke back to me in a abrupt manner we was told to wait even tho she could see my wife was jn alot pain my wifes contraction started around 8:00pm and it was out first baby as we sat for 5 mins her contraction was every 30 seconds i went to the receptionist 3 times told her her contractions are getting closer she said its her first baby walk around my wife was screaming in pain asking for help her water had broke and was pushing receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said go speak to midwife yourself so i walked to the rooms explained what was happening midwife gave me a really horrible look and said everyone is waiting so she have to wait i told them its a emergency shes about to give birth but they ignored me everyone in the waiting area was looking at us in disbelief i stood there trying to get help eventually they took her into the room she was fully dilated and gave birth in 15mins horrible experience really upset they do not care and also they tampered with the timing she went into contraction no idea why defo do not recommend we are due for our second baby our nearest hospital is newham general i am so taken back and confused what to do from here!
