"Kindness and care for my miscarriage "

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

As soon as I checked into A&E I felt that the staff were genuine and sympathised with my situation. The senior staff nurse on triage was very kind and explained the process and what the possibilities were.

The female doctor who treated me explained everything along the way and showed genuine concern about my health. She explained everything clearly and in normal terms and despite knowing this would only end up one way, she made me feel better that there was nothing I could do.

She referred me to the Early Pregnancy Unity who have been very supportive. Despite it being a sad visit every member of staff I met were very professional and kind.
