"Visit to a and e Norwich"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I live in South Norfolk. I was referred to the A and E dept by an out of hours doctor for acute shoulder pain.

ALL members of staff...receptionist, student Dr, Doctor and 2 nurses who dealt with me were attentive, kind and professional. Yes, I had to wait, but anyone going to A and E has to expect this.

The Doctor came into the waiting room to call me to discuss my x-rays and immediately two patients called him to ask why they were waiting for one thing or another.

He remained calm and professional even though he was clearly in demand.

I could not have asked for better care. Many thanks.
