"Father's admission"

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Anything else?

My father was suspected of having a transient ischaemic attack and seen urgently at the clinic on a Saturday morning. A diagnosis was made within one hour including a CT scan and the matter was discussed with the Walton Centre and an immediate treatment decision made for the short term within two hours. The hospital could do with better infrastructure but this will be addressed with the new hospital being built for 2017. The staff have been absolutely exceptional, the doctors, nurses and reception staff in the stroke unit and acute assessment unit have been fantastic.
