"GP out of hours"

I visited the Gp out of hours service approximately a week a go after having major surgery i was given an appointment time after phoning the 111 service i arrived to a waiting room of approx 8 people and given my appointment was in 10mins after arrival it did not look promising. To cut a long story short i waited 1 1/2 hours to be in 10mins to then get an unsatisfactory oucome of what the doctor thought might be an infection but refused to look at the wound. I then proceeded to go to A+E at the alex in redditch where i ended up staying in over night. Personally i do not see the point in having doctors who do not look at your 'problem' thoroughly in the end i realised it would have been just as quick going straight to A+E.
