i was admitted to the bolton royal hospital with chest pains.the pains were not a heart attack but i waskept in the hospital for observation.i was given six small tablets by a nurse and during a visit to the toilet suddenly felt really ill i tried to return to my bed but collapsed head first into a linen trolley.after being carried back into bed i was quickly treated and soon recovered.a doctor told me the six tablets should not have been given to me as a type two diabetic but 24 hours later i left hospital with a badly bruised nose and two black eyes.
