I have been through 6 months of hell: hospital tests and cancer treatment because a routine x-ray didn't give results for 5 months. The hospital insists my results were sent to g.p., who says they were never received. I am now waiting for radiotherapy results, another 3 weeks of terrible stress.
It is now 9 months since the first routine xray. We are told constantly how 'vital' early detection and treatment is, but if we cannot depend on the simple administration duties of staff, isn't it all rather laughable?
