I visited on 5/11/13 for my pre-op assessment and was a day patient on 11/11/13. On both visits the staff were professional, helpful and caring. On my visit to the Day Case Unit on 11/11/13 the staff were great , especially 3 particular members of staff , nothing was too much trouble for them. The surgeon explained the procedure I was to have and the anaesthetist visited me before the op. After the op. the surgeon came to see me and made sure I was fine, he explained what he had done in the op. My post op. care on the ward was great and after a recovery period I was allowed home, with a suitable amount of medication. I have nothing but praise for the way I was looked after and treated by all the departments I had to deal with.
