"recent experience on ward d48 following a full hip..."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Anything else?

On Saturday 9 November 2013, I recently underwent a full hip replacement operation and from being admitted to being discharged I was well treated, well cared for and every step of the way was involved. The ward staff were well prepared for my admission, they were well organised, and when they said something would happen it did and on time. Equally in theatre the procedure was fully explained the care was first class. I could not find fault with anything. Back on the ward the follow up by consultants was excellent and nothing was any trouble. The whole team knew what was expected and all members were well led and they carried out their job well.
