I have been attending the Pain Clinic at Orsett since January. I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted on 2nd October following the standard one week trial. I wish to express my thanks to all members of the doctors team for their help and support during this process. I have really appreciated their commitment towards helping me manage my pain. The team has always responded to telephone calls promptly and with helpful advice. It has also been made very clear that support will continue to be there for the long term. We are all very ready to criticize the NHS, but praise is rarely given. The Pain Clinic at Orsett is a unit of which the Trust can be rightly proud and I would not hesitate to recommend it to “Friends and Family”.
