"Gall Bladder problems"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

After a speedy diagnosis in the SAU (Surgical Assessment Unit) I elected to have the Gall Bladder Removal at a later date as the original symptoms had subsided. The treatment here could not have been better!

On November 8th 2013, I attended the Day Surgery Unit for the operation.

The treatment was EVEN BETTER. All the staff showed total kindness and understanding.

The operation went extremely well, less than 1 week later I am fast recovering.

Well done Shrewsbury Royal and their surgeons and ward staff. Brilliant!

Dear Fran P Thank you so much for taking the trouble to let us know about your time in the Surgical Assessment Unit and your subsequent gall bladder removal operation at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. It is wonderful to hear that you found that the treatment was great at both visits, and that you experienced total kindess and understanding. More importantly, it is great to hear that your operation went extremely well and that you are fast recovering. We very much hope that this continues to be the case. Thanks again for sharing your feedback, which we will pass on to the teams on both the Surgical Assessment Unit and the Day Surgery Unit.
