Anything else?
I was recently diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy which I can say without doubt I has been one of the most stressful and upsetting events of my life. Added to this the fact that I am due to get married in less than three weeks meant throughout my time at the hospital I was very upset and emotional. The wonderful staff on ward 9 (in this I include nurses, doctors, consultants, the surgeons, anaesthetists and other people who looked after me) all treated me with respect, warmth and sensitivity whilst being incredibly thorough and knowlegable about my condition. The hospital in itself was clean and organised and considering this was my first experience in a hospital surprisingly unscary. Whilst the experience of an ectopic pregnancy was incredibly distressing the team at the hospital did their best to make me as comfortable as possible and really eased the stress on me and my partner by taking wonderful care of me. I can't thank them enough for how they looked after me and honestly believe that everyone I have dealt with over the past week has been a shining example of how brilliant the nhs is and just how hard everyone works to make it that way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you
