Took my 10 month old son last week, I was worried he may have swallowed a coin. All of the staff were amazing! I accept I was being an over reacting first time mother but that didn't matter to them. They were so lovely with me and entertained my little boy. One of the nurses even let him pull her hair to distract him getting is temp taken! It's not the first time we have visited that department, a few months ago he had a serious allergic reaction and the level of care was fantastic again. The hospital certainly has some excellent staff in that department and I hope they can be facilitated to carry on the brilliant care in the future despite all of the cuts mentioned in the media. Thanks Wansbeck for looking after my little boy again!
