About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

Anything else?

On the 11th of november 2013 at 11.30pm i contacted 111 due to large abodominal pain also in my back and rib area the lady i spoke too was lovelly and i was later seen by two ambulance men who arrived quickly to see me who then transported me to a&e. There was no warm welcome from any staff at a&e and i was left in the corridor on a seat with no pain relief and was told i would be seen soon,a nurse came to take my blood pressure and went again! I was just left and at 2.15am monday morning another patient asked the nurse to see me and if i could have pain relief which a nurse gave me 2 co-codamol and said id be seen soon and my bloods wud be taken. A lady arrived who worked at the hospital she waited half an hour and was seen straight away! At 3.30 am a staff nurse told me hants doc could see me and a nhs staff member took me through where a lady doctor examined me when she pushed my tummy i cried due to large amounts of pain i was told not to be so silly, she asked for a sample of my urine which i produced, she then commented she couldnt really see the colours on the strip and said there didnt look like any thing was wrong with my wee she then put me back through to a&e where i waited a further 20 minutes (receptionist was lovelly) a male doctor called me with great hesitation, who then asked me questions and another urine test, blood test ,bladder scan and back passage examination was performed. I was told my white blood cells were high (as have been before when in a&e) i was told possibly a urine infection given antibiotics for this which isnt there and sent home. No x-rays or ultrasounds were performed, im disgusted
