My son was assessed and treated by both the Eye Infirmary and Sunderland Royal Infirmary. The care was meticulous and all staff were very professional in manner, kept us well informed as parents and appropriately involved my son in decision making. All staff who were involved with in his (and our) pathway (eye teams; paediatric accident and emergency, ward staff of all grades, and radiology) could not have done more or in a better, kinder, manner.
