"My minor op at the Day Surgery Unit at East Surrey Hospital"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I was very impressed with my whole experience from start to finish and wanted to tell my story because so many impressions of the NHS are negative.

I was treated with such dignity, politeness and care.

The surgeon and anaesthetist were exceptional in my opinion!

I was only having grommets put in my ears but all the same having an op is slightly scary but the whole environment and the treatment I received just put me at my ease.

Thank you to everyone - from the lovely male nurse who admitted me, through the attentive nurses who cared for me on recovery to the friendly staff on the Day Surgery ward.

I would recommend treatment here to anyone!
