A heartfelt thank you to all the maternity staff at the hospital, particularly to the doctor who in the end saved my son's life as well as mine. I can highly recommend the maternity unit. The majority of the midwives & other staff (bar one consultant who virtually laughed at our fears!), were very kind, caring & professional. In the end, I needed a crash c-section, which was very terrifying but I'm grateful that the decision was made in time. The surgeon also came the next day to answer some of the questions I had. The post-natal care was equally exceptional, with the midwives all being very caring and supportive.
