On the 6th of october 2013. Our son suffured a head injury playing rugby. He was air lifted to the Royal London as we drove down the M4 . All the time the hospital kept us in touch with his condition and what proccdures they where about to do. By the time we got to the hospital he had had surgery and was on the intensive care unit. There are not enough words in my vocabluary to express the gratiude that my family have for the care the staff gave my son. Over the 3 weeks in ICU and HDU we were all exposed to the dedication and genuine care that all the staff showed. We all expect proffesionalism from the staff, but time and time again they went beyond this. He is still in hospital but improving daily. When people are truly in need there is nothing better than the NHS and the staff at the Royal London should think of themselves as ambassadors of this unique instituion. Thanks to you we may never have to see you again. You are there when we need you and then fade into the background. Thank you from a very greatful family.
