"Pals complaint to West park Hospital"

About: Tees, Esk And Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as the patient),

I have been misinformed and not had relevant information passed on to me multiple times. I complained to PALS about this but since I am "nobody" they in no way took me seriously and even during the callback they refused to hear my side.

Now am left paying for private medical help.

The Trust would like to reassure you that all service users and carers who have concerns about services are taken seriously and anyone contacting PALS will be given advice and support with options for taking their concerns forward.

Some people contacting PALS take the option for staff to contact clinical staff on their behalf to raise concerns and see if a solution can be reached. Others take the option to have their concerns registered under the NHS Complaints Regulations 2009 with a written response from the Chief Executive.

The Trust is therefore very sorry to hear that you have not been satisfied with the service you have received from PALS and hope that you feel able to contact them again in the future on 0800 052 0219 if you require further advice and support relating to any concerns about care and treatment.
