"I came to see a consultant for ..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I came to see a consultant for the 1st time about a condition a found out I had in october, at first they were pleasant, but because I am not willing to just accept just having exams where people poke things down my throat without question, about a condition I have been told nothing about, I started asking questions, they said they didnt have the time, they found my questions, not right and just dismissed them and said the tests didnt really matter as I was obviosly nervous and they would send a letter explaining to me and my doctor, and even questioned my answers to my family health history like I was lying, I felt like they were rude and patronising me, I left angry and confused and this is not a good feeling

What could be improved

give the consultants time to explain or run a clinic for 30 mins prior for people who have no idea what their conditions are and what they can do to make them better and what to expect from the consultation, and give the consultants who havent got any some manners. after all I suffer from derpression and aniexty and my levels rocketed when I left the room. They were judgmental.
