"Quietly Brilliant"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

Anything else?

I have just completed my second surgery visit ( Lyme Ward) for my bowel cancer treatment. This time I have had my stoma reversed one year on from the initial surgery to remove my tumour. Again I was on Lyme Ward where I had stayed before and received excellent treatment and care. I have felt at all times at the centre of team of people working together and using their skills to get me well. I will be forever greatful - we are very lucky in Devon to have such as excellent hospital, as with the vast majority of the NHS just 'quietly brilliant'.
