"My experience of excellent patient care - Clinical Neurophysiology"

I attended the QE Hospital Birmingham as an out-patient for a Conduction Test.

I arrived at 3.32pm for my 3.30pm appointment. Within 5 minutes, I was called in by Daniel Russell, the attending Nurse. He explained in full detail the nature of my test, and who would be conducting it. He ensured that was comfortable, and applied a warm wheat cushion to warm my feet.

I was then seen by Dr Ali - the Consultant undertaking the test. He was very polite, warm and engaging, and he too provided a full explanation, and described exactly how it would feel. The whole procedure took under 20 minutes. I was in my car on my way home by 3.55pm.

My whole patient experience from start to finish was amazing! Daniel and Dr Ali demonstrated the epitome of professionalism and treated me with the utmost respect and care - a real credit to the NHS!
