What I liked

I have recently been a patient in your hospital on two occasions. On both occasions I was most impressed by the professionalism of all concerned and the calm and thoughtful care. The night staff were particuarly helpful and considerate as I was experiencing problems sleeping. I was especially impressed by the high standards of cleanliness on the wards. One has read some 'horror' stories about hospital standards but those in Rake Lane were of the highest.

We are very pleased to learn that you had a positive experience and that you found all the staff carried out their work in a caring manner. We will pass on your kind comments to the staff as it’s always encouraging to know their hard work is appreciated, particularly as you mention when there is so much bad press regarding the NHS.
