I am a carer for my niece, looking after her in the evenings and at night.
One evening she had a high temperature and I called the 111 service so that a doctor could come and see her. I was given another number to call, this was a Wandsworth number. When I got through the person said they could not help me as I live in Colliers Wood and this is not part of Wandsworth. Have Harmoni closed down?
In the end I managed to get my niece’s temperature down with wet cloths and then spoke to the district nurse who comes to see her from the St George’s hospital. The fever was due to a bladder infection which is now being treated with antibiotics.
I just need to know if I need another number or should I carry on using the 111 number in an emergency?
