"people like myself are very grateful that they..."

About: Tameside General Hospital

Anything else?

I am writing to give some high praise to Tameside hospital and all the doctors/nurses/staff that treated me on my recent admission, having suffered a very bad case of food poisoning and being a type 1 diabetic I was rushed in to Tameside A&E by my girlfriend. I was in a terrible state and was rushed through for immediate treatment once I was made stable I was moved on to a ward where I stayed for a couple of days before I was well enough to go home. Every member of staff was so helpful to me and my family during my time there, I really felt like I needed to put my story out to give people who seem to be getting a very hard time for things at the moment some positive news and know that people like myself are very grateful that they were there.

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved? Please contact John Goodenough, Director of Nursing at
