What I liked

The NHS and its Trust Hospitals are constantly being pilloried by the media for their misdemeanours. My experience is very different.

In the past two weeks I have been referred to five departments in two hospitals - North Tyneside and Hexham. I have been met with nothing but efficiency, courtesy, kindness and patience from all the consultants and their staff.

Last minute consultations were arranged to save me travelling and communications between departments was exemplary, I cannot conceive of better attention.

What more can be asked of any institution.

It is very reassuring for the staff to know that you had a positive experience, particularly as you mention in this current climate when there is so many negative messages from the media.
