Having been directed to the 111 service after a telephone call to my surgery (closed) I spoke to a gentleman and explained my problem He said I would get a callback within an hour. The callback came in 5 minutes and I was advised to go to A&E straight away.
I reported to reception and was asked to take a seat. Five minutes later I was called to Triage and then taken for examination.
The doctor who saw me was Dr. Cornelia (sorry, I can't remember her surname) who was very understanding and sympathetic and dealt with my problem which resulted in catheteristation. The speed with which this all happened was exemplary and no praise from me would be sufficient.
I was eventually taken to Redditch by ambulance where I was to be under observation for 24 hours.
Every member of staff who I came into contact with at
Worcester and Redditch, together with those in the ambulance were fantastic and all I can say is a big thank you.
"Attending A & E "
