Anything else?
After a fall I was taken to A&E by hotel receptionist, very short waiting time in A&E, into Xray to confirm badly broken right wrist. As we did not know area we were permitted to drive back to our hotel and return by 0730 next morning to be admitted to A4 (so that we could find out way back to hospital etc - we are from another party of the UK). This was at about 0200 in the morning. I was treated with the utmost care and courtesy by all the nursing and ancilliary staff at all times, my husband was given tea and sandwiches whilst he waited for me to go to theatre. The nurses on A3 - where I went on returning from surgery - were concerned that I had not had sufficient food during the day and made a cup of tea and toast especially for me. I cannot thank everyone enough for all their kindness and consideration to me and my family, all visitors to the area. . It wasn't my intention to end our stay in the area in hospital but thankfully I was lucky to end up at SMUH.
"Excellent Service from A&E and Wards A4 and A3"
