Anything else?
My Family and myself would like to thank all at Wexham, Heatherwood and Windsor including the Macmillan nurses. With all the bad press surrounding the health service we would like to give you our thanks and experience. In May I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, during my outpatient's clinics and tests and ever since then I have had nothing but the very best treatment from all concerned. All my options were given and explained in detail and we decided that for me the operation of prostrate removal was the best option. In August I was taken in for the operation but due to a problem with me this needed to be aborted, the problem was then explained in full giving me my options again, I was taken back into hospital 10/10/20013 for a operation which has now been completed successfully. On every occasion I was admitted onto ward 2 It was refreshing to see a matron not only on ward over the weekend but she actually changed my dressing explaining that she liked to keep her hand in. There was always a member of the Urology team available for any concerns. The nurses were just wonderful in every way and even though they were extremely busy they gave me complete attention when required It was a pleasure to be treated by all those concerned.
"my care"
