I have just spent 8 days on Ward B1 of RHH following a total hip joint replacement.. After all the negativity around RHH I was very apprehensive. I need not have been. The care I received from everyone involved was superb. The ward ran like clockwork, with all the staff co operating in the care of the patients. The nurses were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, even to having my feet and legs washed a couple of times whilst in there. From the Consultant and Anaesthetist to the nurses, cleaners and volunteers, I have nothing but praise. I cannot thank them all enough for making my stay as comfortable as they possibly could. Definitely not the traumatic experience I was expecting.
