Being a married woman who had no sexual relationship in my marriage for 18 years. Re met someone from my youth....had a fantastic but badly ending affair.
About 4 or 5 weeks after it was over. Had Cystitis - like symptoms...but passing blood + plus other unpleasant things.
Put up with it for a week until it became unbearable. Saw GP who gave me Trimethoprim after dip test indicated white blood cells and protein.
Went to St Mary's Hospital GU Clinic in Kettering. Completed forms. Sat shaking and ashamed.
However the Nurse/Medic was so kind, she listened to me, reassured me, calmed me.
The whole experience was a good as it possibly could have been.
I now wait 10 Days for my results text.
