I am nearly 20wks pregnant and had my 12wk scan early Sept 13. I had about a 45min delay but this wasn't too much of an issue and I had expected it given that my appointment was in the afternoon. Our sonographer was lovely and was determined to get the right angle for my baby's nuchal measurement (behind the neck). Our baby was very energetic and kept moving around, so I was instructed to jiggle, roll over, roll back this way, roll away again, etc. etc. for a good ten minutes as she tried to get the right angle. I was very grateful for this because if she hadn't been able to get the measurement that time there would not have been another scan offered. The sonographer had a lovely manner and was very patient and interested in us. Would love to have her again for my 20wk scan this weekend - fingers crossed!
