I was directed by the NHS to attend the West Cumberland Hospital which was a bit strange as i only live 2 miles from the Carlisle Hospital, after finding a parking spot (not easy) i was greeted by the receptionist who explained everything, i mentioned to her that i was in the system for a Bone Scan but had not received a date as i had just submitted the request on line on Sunday, she looked it up and told me the date was 9th Dec i said it would be nice if there was a cancellation and it could have it done today and save me another 80 mile round trip she said she would see what she could do. I went for my original appointment and she came to see me and said that the bone scan unit would fit me in immediately after i had completed my appointment. Top marks. Very many thanks. Ken.
