I had the benefit of making 2 visits to Springfield in late April 2013 and late September 2013 for total knee replacement surgery. In April I had my right knee replaced and in September my left knee was replaced. On both occasions I can only say that the care and consideration I received from all the staff was of the highest calibre. My sincere and heartfelt thanks go to Consultant Surgeon for his expertise in performing the most intricate and successful knee replacement surgery one could wish for and also to consultant anaesthetist for his outstanding care and exceptional pain relief regime both during and after the procedures. Both of these gentlemen together with all of the medical nursing team who looked after me made both of my recent stays as comfortable as possible. In particular I wish to thank the ward team together with the ancillary and support catering staff who provided an excellent service, I also wish to thank the physiotherapy team who have provided the guidance, support and encouragement to work on getting my mobility back to normal. I remain extremely grateful to everyone for the care I received on my two visits to Springfield. Thank you.
