About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Anything else?

Arrived at walk-in / health centre at 13.00 Saturday with post op. pains after being told to go there if any problems. Waited until 14.25 to see a nurse. The nurse then said we would have to see a doctor at 16.20 The doctor was not happy and contacted the gyno surgeon who was in theatre. At 17.30 the surgeon requested that I go to see him in the Gyno unit. I had to wait until 18.30 to see the surgeon ( which I am not complaining about as he kept getting called to more urgent matters) The surgeon was very helpful and we spent 30 minutes with him. having to sit this amount of time when I was very uncomfortable is unacceptable. I would also like to complain about the toilets in the health centre which had a broken seat, a broken tap and paper all over the floor, It was discusting
