My prescription had ceased to be effective, so I tried to get a gp appointment at Forres health centre which I was unsuccessful doing unless I had requested an emergency appointment which I didn't think was necessary.
I finally gave up after 10 days and requested a telephone gp appointment. Nothing wrong there as I was called within the hour at about 12: 30pm.
The gp changed my prescription saying I need to come in to speak to a gp. Easier said than done. The gp also said that prescription would be sent up to my local pharmacy by end of the day. I left it until the following day, Saturday, they had no knowledge of the prescription, that was no good to me as surgery was closed for the weekend.
I checked the other two pharmacies in town just in case it had been sent there by mistake, it hadn't. So had to wait until monday check to see where it was. On phoning the gp surgery all I got was the doctor must have brought it to late for it to be picked up, from 12. 30! ! ! And that it had been picked by the pharmacy that morning. So I called the pharmacy to see if it was there. No she said as they haven't been picked up yet. Good job my prescription was for anything life threatening!
