I would like to thank Carol one of the Gynaecology Secretaries at Tameside General Hospital. There are many people concerned with our healthcare that do not get the praise they deserve. These are the unseen people who can really make a difference but never get thanked. They work under tremendous pressure and have to take a lot of flack about things they can do nothing about.
Before complaining about admin staff try to think that they do not get the glory jobs and the thanks that the frontline staff get and are forgotten when a good outcome is acheived.
Despite my constant moaning about things she could do little about, she always remained calm and polite and treated me with respect. Please try to remember that receptionists, admin staff and secretary's are only doing what the Doctors instruct them to do. Thank you Carol for all your efforts.
