"Sent home with a broken neck"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

Anything else?

My husband fell down the stairs last week, I had to call 999 who were very good. When I got to the hospital he'd been x rayed and we were told he had bad bruisinmg and sent him home. The following evening we had a phone call from the doctor saying he must come back straight away, no ambulance was offered. They gave him a CT scan and discovered that he'd fractured C6 and C7 also some dislocation in top half of his back. They kept him in for the night. He now has to wear a neck brace for 8 weeks. This is very very poor and I'd like some answers. Anne. Husband Ronald.
