"top heavy numbers of too highly paid management."

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Anything else?

this is a brand new built hospital which was built with 100 hundred fewer beds needed for the area. In the near past more beds have been lost mainly because there hasn`t been enough nurses to maintain the levels of care needed to keep the hospital functioning. The trust seem to think that extra, highly paid levels of managers are needed when in actual fact what is more important is to have higher numbers of nurses per bed so that the levels of acceptable care is received. I feel for the hard working nursing staff who run around scrimping on time spent per patient because they are expected to care for unacceptable levels of numbers.

The Trust is committed to the provision of safe and appropriate care. Ward staffing levels should reflect the number and dependency of the patients being cared for and staffing levels are regularly reviewed.
