I took my wife to A&E with a bowel blockage. She was seen by the triage nurse within 20 minutes and within the next 15 minutes was in majors being seen, she was admitted and given a bed. Every member of staff was first class - she was kept informed and involved. Having been in similar situations in other hospitals the help she received was refreshing. Perhaps we don't realize how good (or bad) a facility is until we experience another.
