What I liked

I have several complex medical conditions and at the moment I am being treated at another hospital. I had a very bad fall and was taken to A&E at Arrowe Park. I was treated very well with reasonable waiting times and excellent nurses and doctors. I was admitted and went first to one ward and then another. At all times I knew what was happening and every one was polite and friendly.

What could be improved

My only problem was with my medication. My husband brought my medication from home (over 7 different tablets) but but when the nurse came to give me my tablets her list (presumably got from some computer list) bore very little relation to mine. Some were similar but not the same, some were completely missing and some were on her list and not mine. The thing is, even though she could see which tablets I should have she couldn't give me them and had to go bad and see the Dr again. It was 3.00am before I got my tablets. Couldn't there be some system so that if you bring your drugs the doctor could look at them, put a tick on the packet and the nurse could then dole them out?
